A Very Nice Austin Weekend
We went back to the zoo!
But let me start at the beginning.
On Saturday morning I woke up and watched the Biscuit Brothers and my regular animal shows. Then we went to Baby's-R-Us and got a new "Baby book" for our new baby (who will be here in about 6 weeks). Then we went and ate some good Tex-Mex. We have to do that while we can! I had a good nap and then we went to the Austin Zoo. I fed the deer.
I saw the bear. (Last time it was sleeping.) And then I saw the peacock jump into the bear's enclosure. I thought he was going to get eaten!
Later, we saw him... so we knew he escaped.
We saw lots of animals. I especially liked the monkeys. I also liked riding around on Daddy's back.
Before we left, I got to see a train.
Then we went to the Shady Grove for dinner. It was a wonderful Austin day.
Today we went to church. I learned about the good Samaritan. Took a nap. Went to Amy's Ice Cream... yum, and then had a nice evening at home.
