New Blog Site

We are going to start posting pictures and updates on a new family site as a one-stop resource for news on the girls and maybe the parents, too. We will keep the girls' sites in case they want to share anything with you (see Celia's post below). Just head on over to www.greenandpinkparty.blogspot.com.

Front row seat

I love watching Daddy cook, but he doesn't always have an extra arm to hold me. Mommy got this sling for Emme, but it works for me too. I was a little pouty in the first picture because, as I told Mommy, I was busy cooking and didn't want my picture made.

Random Pictures

We haven't gotten the chance to take too many pictures around here. It has been really busy with my new baby sister and preparing to move. Here are a few pictures to tide you over until we take some more.

I'm a big sister!

My baby sister came today. I met her in the hospital. You can see Daddy's bed in the background. I'll write more soon!

Easter Eve

On Saturday, our church had an Easter Egg hunt. It was at the playground at Daddy's old school, so it was familiar territory for me. We started with playing inside with toys and listening to a story while our parents hid the eggs. They divided up the age groups, so I was with kids 2 and younger.

I found lots of eggs with candy and stickers.

I got to eat one piece of candy...it was a little melted...but very yummy.

Coloring Eggs

That night, we colored Easter Eggs (I had to take off my shirt after I got coloring on it). Daddy made the dye at home with food coloring and vinegar--he is so talented. I think the eggs turned out great.

Easter

On Sunday, the Easter bunny came to my house. I got an Easter basket with candy and a meow cat. Then I found even more eggs inside and outside.

These had candy and coins in them. I put the coins in my piggy bank to save for later. Sadly, I also had to save most of the candy for later too (which seemed to disappear..hum, I wonder where it went).
Mommy and Daddy let me have one green peep before church and some of the chocolate bunny ears. It was a little hard for me to sit still at church.

Easter-more pictures

Green Day!

I just learned about my new favorite holiday. On March 17th everyone wears green!! Daddy got me a crown with green gems to celebrate and I wore all green clothes. In this picture I am pretending to be a green frog. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Green dresses

This weekend, Tutu came to visit me in Austin.

We ran lots of errands with Tutu. One of them was to Babies R Us. Tutu knows how much I love green, so she bought me three new green dresses!! This is the one I wore to church on Sunday.

On Saturday, I was so excited about her visit, I skipped my nap. We went to eat dinner at Chuy's that night, but I fell asleep two blocks from the resturaunt. I slept on my Daddy's shoulder (& Mommy's & Tutu's) the entire time and woke up when they put me back in the car to go home where I ate a hot dog. I was sad that I missed out on the rice, beans and cheese.

Tutu's Pictures

Early in February while Daddy was out of town, we went to College Station. Since Mommy didn't take any pictures, Tutu just shared hers. Tutu has these cool animals at her house that you can take apart...at first I didn't want to mix the pieces, but then we made a super animal (an elezeraff). I got Tutu to take a lot of pictures of me with my super animal...these are just a few.

This is a picture of Tutu and me before we went to her church.

Rainy Day, Green Galoshes

A while ago, my Tutu bought me some green galoshes (I love green). I hadn't gotten to wear them outside of the house yet, but today it was rainy in Austin. Daddy let me wear them to school and brought along my tennis shoes to change into.

But when I got to school, I didn't want to change shoes. I wore my galoshes all day even though we didn't go outside. It was a really good day!
